RE: Anyone cancelling trips due to gas prices?
A fellow camper has a slogan on the back window of his truck that echoes our feelings at this point - "Fuel prices aren't everything."
Not only are we not canceling, we're going west, then back southeast. We've been workkamping for two years now. Time to hit the road and see America before we're too old to do it. We're leaving northern Illinois, headed for Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park in late September. After a long weekend camping with my brother and his family, we're heading to Knoxville, TN where we have a full-time temporary job from Oct thru the second week in January. Then we're headed to Florida to park our butts for the rest of the winter. In the spring we'll probably flip a coin. As long as it's somewhere new, I'll be happy.
